New Roof Installation | Crowborough
Project Overview:
When it comes to roofing, we like to think we do things properly – strong materials, skilled craftsmanship, and a finish that will last for decades. But this Crowborough project wasn’t just about installing a brand-new roof… it was also about capturing the process from a whole new perspective.
Thanks to some seriously impressive drone photography, we were able to document every stage of the installation – from the perfectly aligned battens to the final slate being laid. The aerial shots give you a bird’s-eye view of the precision involved, not to mention the satisfying symmetry of a well-executed hip roof.
Our team stripped away the old, tired covering and replaced it with premium slate tiles, carefully laid to withstand the unpredictable British weather. The underlay and battens were installed with military precision (and just a hint of artistic flair), ensuring a solid base for the slates to sit perfectly in place.
And the photos?
Well, they’re not just “before and after” – they’re the kind of shots that make other roofers jealous and homeowners proud. It’s like the roof had its own glossy magazine photoshoot… only instead of a catwalk, it’s perched 20 feet up in the air.
The result is a watertight, weatherproof, and wonderfully neat new roof that will protect the home for years to come – and, thanks to the drone, it looks just as good from the sky as it does from the street.
