Scope of Work:

• Full Roof Strip & Preparation:
  • We carefully removed all the existing roof tiles, old felt, and battens, stripping the roof back to its original structure. This allowed us to fully inspect the roof and carry out any necessary preparation work to ensure a solid base for the new installation.
• Breathable Felt Installation:
  • High-performance Permavent breathable felt was installed across the entire roof area. This provides excellent protection against moisture while still allowing the roof to breathe, reducing the risk of damp or condensation.
• New Treated Timber Battens:
  • Brand new treated timber battens were fitted and securely fixed over the felt. These provide a strong and durable framework for fixing the new slate tiles, ensuring longevity and stability.
• Natural Slate Tile Installation:
  • Premium quality natural slate tiles were installed across the roof, laid neatly and securely for a clean, modern finish while maintaining the traditional character of the property.
• New Leadwork Around Chimneys:
  • We installed new lead flashing around all chimney stacks to create a watertight seal, this step was crucial for preventing leaks and protecting vulnerable areas of the roof.
•  Ridge, Verge & Final Finishing Touches:
  • The roof was completed with a cement ridge and neatly finished verge details for maximum weather protection. Once finished, we carried out a thorough site clean-up, leaving the property neat, safe and ready to enjoy.
